Eye Contact: Thoroughly rinse with plenty of clean water.

Inhalation: N/A

Ingestion: Give milk preferably, or water to dilute. Do not induce vomiting. If symptoms persist seek medical advice.

Fire-Fighting Measures

The product itself is not classified as flammable, but will decompose producing acrid smoke if exposed to high temperatures. Breathing apparatus may be required.

Extinguishing media: Foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide extinguishers.

Accidental Release Measures

Avoid contact with water. Remove product and dispose of in an approved manner.

Observe any local waste disposal regulations.

 

Handling and Storage

Storage: Store the product in a clean dry place as ambient temperature.

Handling: Provide suitable mechanical equipment for the safe handling of heavy packages.

Exposure Control/Personal Protection

On the basis of information available this products is not hazardous. Prolonged exposure may in very few cases produce skin sensitivity. Skin should be dried thoroughly after use.

Appearance: Translucent block.

Odour: Mild, characteristic soapy.

pH value: 9.5 – 10.5 (1% aqueous solution)

Solubility: Miscible in all proportions.

Thermal decomposition temperature: Approx 150 deg C.

Stability/Reactivity

Stability: Stable. Will not promote hazardous reactions.

Reactivity: Will decompose above approx 150 deg C to produce acrid smoke.

Not animal tested.

Inhalation: N/A

Skin contact: N/A

Eye contact: Can be an irritant.

Ingestion: Mild gastric irritation.

Ecological Information

This product is essentially non-toxic and non-hazardous.

Fully biodegradable.
